Eat small amount with more intervals

There hv been articles talking about eat more times and small amount at each time.
Last Sunday, I hv had a good experience from the boutique wedding lunch where the food amount was small and you get many dishes over the time span of 1pm till 3.30pm.    
The blood glucose reading seems to be steadily flat without suffering a spikes.

Fabulous atmosphere with gradual pace of food on the table. 

While I enjoyed the food and red wine, I hv decided to only drink moderately. Stopped drinking after 2 peg of dried red wine. 

Okinawan diets is also small amount apparently.
