From FAT to FIT 🚴

Doremi has been a friendly guy since I know him in 2018.


 My recent mountain biking with him has inspired me to write a short article about his FAT to FIT journey. In 2015, he and several friends had decided to embark on healthy living through cycling in view to his high blood pressure background as well as high cholesterol. 9 of them started to buy bicycle and cycling around the Recreational Forest, Ayer Keroh, regularly. Gradually, some guys gave up except Doremi who decided to join other more committed cycling groups . His persistence mindset has evolved himself to enter into road bike riding and mountain biking adventuring. His weight has also gradually decreased from 110kg ( 2015) to 85kg today. Kudos to his strong mindset and determination. His blood pressure has resumed to normal and so as the cholesterol level. What is Doremi 's advice? Just be consistent with the sport you pursue, cycling and running, and eat less whenever possible, two meals a day for example. His eating habits are quite like mine, the 80:20 diet approach ( more vegetables). I'm really impressed with his recent mountain biking with me that climb 2 killer hills, namely the Virgin Hill and Killer hill where the terrain were rather steep, slippery due to gravel surface and ruggedly uneven.







I hope he continue such a role model and more plus size people could take up such a healthy lifestyle moving forward.
