Hunza Valley, the Blue Zone

Hunza Valley, Northern Pakistan
Autum 2022
=========================
This place has a lot of nonagenarian and centenarian. Mountainous terrain , super tough place, mostly are farmers. Apparently Hunza people are white-spotted with the descendants of Macedonian due to certain similarities in the language , young, cheerful and completely different from the surrounding population. The advantageous consumption of high fiber food such as barley, apricot, apple, grapes, millet, nuts, grains, honey make Hunza people long-lived.  It also has one of  the cleanest glacier water in the world. Certainly qualify as another Blue Zone area.

Farming in such a mountainous area is tough but it certainly provides a lot of cardio exercise which makes the heart healthy.

A place where people walk a lot.

Above are some of the photos collection from our autumn visit in 2022.
